Measured decision guide

Power & Rebirth Decision Guide

Compare continuing and rebirthing against one shared Power target. In this model, rebirth is the faster path only when its recovery period and remaining run together take less time than continuing.

There is no developer-published threshold in the sources reviewed here that tells every player when to rebirth. The method below estimates a scenario from entered measurements; it does not supply an unknown game multiplier.

Use one measurement boundary

For the rebirth path, record Power when recovery ends. This is your total when the sustainable post-recovery rate starts, including any Power gained while recovering.

Do not combine Power immediately after the reset with a rate measured only after a longer recovery unless no Power was gained in between. Otherwise, the estimate can count recovery progress twice.

Compare both paths

Continue minutes = max(0, Target Power − Current Power) ÷ Current Power per minute

Rebirth minutes = Recovery minutes + (Target Power − Power when recovery ends) ÷ Power per minute after recovery

Use the second formula when the target remains above the recovery-end total. If you reach the target during recovery, you need the actual time of that crossing for a precise comparison. The recovery duration alone cannot reveal it.

Build a valid comparison

Choose one target relevant to your current session. Keep it unchanged between the two paths.

For continuing, use your current Power and a representative Power-per-minute rate without changing your setup.

For the rebirth path, identify the recovery duration, the Power total at its end, and the sustainable rate that starts there. An unobserved post-rebirth path is a what-if scenario, not a measurement.

Compare the two total times, then reconsider the inputs whenever your setup or rate changes. A larger multiplier alone does not settle the decision, because recovery still costs time.

A complete demonstration

These are invented demonstration inputs, not game unlock requirements: current Power 12,000; target 100,000; current rate 2,000 Power per minute; recovery 6 minutes; Power at the end of recovery 10,000; later rate 4,000 Power per minute.

Continuing takes 44 minutes. The rebirth scenario takes 28 minutes 30 seconds, including recovery. The difference is 15 minutes 30 seconds in favor of rebirth for this example only.

Common questions

Should setup time count?

Yes. Count time between choosing the reset and reaching the pace used in the post-recovery estimate. Do not assume that the faster rate applies throughout that interval.

What if I do not know the post-recovery rate?

Keep the comparison labeled as a what-if scenario, or leave the decision unresolved. An unknown rate is not evidence for a reset recommendation.

What if I already have enough Power?

For that Power target, the remaining time is zero. Resetting is not needed to reach a target you have already reached.

Does the estimate guarantee the next unlock?

No. It estimates time to the entered Power total. A separate enemy, interaction, or other gate must be verified independently; this model does not invent one.
